Deviation Actions
DeviantArt has recently changed its policies regarding the ability for users to report art that has been stolen and put on display here, regardless if credit is given to the original artist or not. They have taken the stance that this isn't true "theft", which I find absurd. An artist should have complete control over their material, and by law in the U.S. as soon as a piece of art is created it is also protected by copyright. There are entire galleries of scumbag users on here that are nothing more than stolen artwork. DeviantArt is condoning this behavior by the removal of the option to report works that are believed to not be owned by the user. I find this intolerable, and also shits all over the people who have built this site with their hard work in the form of the art they display here. The problem is an artist cannot possibly be everywhere on the internet at once, to try and ensure their creations are being used in the manner they see fit. DA has decided that the default wishes for all artists is "hey do anything you want with my work", instead of the way it should be - get permission to display their art. So, in protest, I have removed all of my art from this site. I will not allow a site which doesn't care about the content creators to host my art, and I will never again submit a single photo or piece of art to this site.

Emerald City Comic Con - Video footage
I have a counter-part to my DA account on Facebook. It's a Like page for all of my cosplay video and photography. I'm getting footage of this past weekend's Emerald City Comic Con on there. If you were interviewed by !A-Moonage-Daydream (https://www.deviantart.com/a-moonage-daydream) and myself, then eventually your video will wind up there. I also milled about the crowds and will be interspersing crowd shots here and there, so you might catch yourself in the sea of people. Keep an eye out for Miku-Cam - that's the video which will contain tons of crowd footage.

2013 Emerald City Comic Con
Not sure how many people read journals, especially mine, but I was at ECC this weekend. All of the photos I took are now up in my gallery. If you know who the cosplayer and/or what the costume is, feel free to comment on the picture and I'll update it.
For this con I did something new. I took my videocamera and we interviewed a number of cosplayers, and I also got a lot of footage walking around the con. Once edited these videos will be on my YouTube channel - www.youtube.com/AdamLProductions
We will be at Sakuracon this year also. I'll be doing the same thing, trying to juggle interviews of cosplayers as well as take as many photos as I ca
Akicon 2012 Pictures = Complete
Finally wrapped up the editing. All the pictures are here now. If you know the character names and/or have a DA link to the cosplayers, make a note on the page with their image and I'll update it.
Still working on AkiCon pictures
It's taking a while. I have to balance work (which is eating up a hell of a lot of my waking hours) and time to relax, but I have finished day 1 photos. I don't just snap the pictures and put them up, I go through them one at a time and post-process to make sure they all turn out as best as can be. I promise the difference between the raw photo and what I post is worth the effort and the wait! But it is a lot of extra work, outside of my day job, so be patient. :)
